Every Sunday's a day to be excited about, but this Sunday's gonna be pretty special for a couple of reasons.
- First, we'll begin our brand new message series, "Simple Man," this weekend. These messages are all about a man named Abraham. He lived a life not complicated by self-imposed conditions or qualifications or limitations, but a very simple faith that said, “I trust You, God, no matter what; and because I trust You, I’ll obey you to the very end.” He didn’t always get it right. He made quite a few mistakes, but we remember Abraham today because when he got it right, he got it right! Over the next five weeks, we’ll look at Abraham’s life and some of its episodes, and we’ll find that this “Simple Man” has a lot to teach us today. AND it all begins this Sunday at Gateway Community Church.
- ALSO, let's not forget that we'll be celebrating our country's 235th birthday this weekend, too. That's always a great time at Gateway!
